Growing up, there were three things that guided many of my actions. I loved to draw, make people laugh, and tell stories. I had originally wanted to become a stand up comedian, until I realized just how nerve wracking it is to try and intentionally be funny. In the meantime, I had been fostering a love for drawing that translated itself surprisingly well into my desire to tell stories and make people laugh. And so, I combined the three passions and set myself down the path of working in the animation industry.

It hasn't been an easy road, and I doubt the road ahead will be any easier. There's always that niggling little bit of doubt in the back of my head that's usually pretty dormant, but flares up occasionally when I'm feeling a little down. Luckily I have the support of my family and friends that help keep my doubts at bay.
